Whey and Casein
Q: Are the whey and casein cows kept according to organic standards?
A: Yes. Not only are they fed according to the strict rules that apply to organic farming, they are also treated well. The milk for our whey comes from organic farms where the welfare of animals and nature are taken into account and where the cows graze outside as much as possible.
Q: Does your whey come from grass-fed cows?
A: Our whey comes from farms in the south of Germany, Austria and Switzerland. So the cows graze on rich alpine pastures. An environment with clean air and a healthy atmosphere. If the temperature permits, the cows graze outside. Grass growth slows down at low temperatures. DThe cows then go to the barn where they are fed with silage grass and hay that has been harvested during the summer months from the same healthy grasslands as where the cows graze. To get enough nutrients, the cows are fed with organic grains. Absolutely no genetically modified products (GMOs).
Q: Have your proteins been treated with acid?
A: No. Our whey and casein are “sweet,” which means that enzymes are used for thickening. So no acid or any other harmful substance is used in the production process. We ensure that our production is completely organic and does not damage the environment.

A: We use organic milk that is heated very briefly and minimally. The milk is heated for a short period and then kept at 60 ° C for about 15-20 seconds, after which the milk is cooled down again.
Q: Does your whey also contain other ingredients?
A: Our whey protein consists entirely of organic whey protein concentrate. The vanilla contains 0.2% stevia and natural vanilla flavor. The cocoa flavor contains 0.2% stevia and cocoa powder.
Q: Is your whey protein a concentrate or an isolate?
A: Our whey is a protein concentrate (WPC 80). To make a whey isolate, which adds 10% protein, an additional process is required that extracts some very useful substances from the whey. These substances, lactoferrin and immunoglobin, actually contribute to the health-enhancing properties of whey protein. For that reason we have decided to treat the whey as little as possible and only use WPC 80.
Q: The packaging states that 80% of the content consists of whey, what is the other 20%?
